Quick Overview

The KS7 Wilderness in Tero Tuf scales is a world-class camp knife!

The Dozier Wilderness model is the thickest, heaviest piece in his hunting lineup with the possible exception of the KS-5 Elk Hunter. The blade is .200" thick at the spine and the bevel is a bit wider than usual to allow for chopping and other camp construction and butchering chores afield. This edge is wickedly sharp and, even with the wider bevel, would excel in finer tasks such as butchering medium and large game.

The D2 steel blade is 5" and the handle about 4 7/8" - and of course it also features Bob's signature full-tang construction. This one is handled in maroon bead-blasted Tero-Tuf which is something like micarta but instead of a phenolic resin it's made using polyester resin reinforced with polyester textile. This is a very stable handle material that will not crack or break and has negligible water swell - it is recommended for tactical knives in particular due to its no-slip feel. And it does have a grippy texture, especially when bead-blasted. This example also has black/red/black liners under the scales. As is standard for this model it comes in Bob’s kydex thumb-break Wilderness sheath. Mint, just in from Springdale!

In the images here is a pic of this knife, the KS7, alongside the K45 Kephart knife handled in the same maroon Tero Tuf. If available the K45 will be listed separately - only the KS7 is for sale in this listing.
